Done with finals!

  • May. 12th, 2009 at 2:52 PM

Well I still have the take home, but that ones easy. Now I just have to pack and move out today then I'm free! Only problem is I'm already getting bored. Maybe I should be packing and not procrastinating on the internet...

Things I've learned before finals

  • May. 2nd, 2009 at 1:06 PM

1) I should not allow myself to stay up past 1, my mind gets oddly depressing in the middle of the night

2) Sugar is your friend, it makes all the scary stress go away

3) So does junk tv

4) School is for the weak!

Ok, in all seriousness finals suck, but what can you do. 1 more week of school, then finals, then FREEDOM. But first its time for a bit more procrastinating.

So life has been hectic. Work + School= Chaos. I need to start searching for an apartment soon, or stay in the dorms again. I'd rather not be in a dorm next year though. Don't really have much to update on so Meme.

Score is 90/300

Betrayed

Orson Scott Card is republican! And not in the lets agree to disagree Collen Powell John McCain way, he is hardcore conservative! Apparently Terry Goodkind is as well!

Thank you George R. R. Martin, for giving me hope in writers.

VICTORY

  • Nov. 4th, 2008 at 11:13 PM

OBAMA WON! WE WON!

Still don't know the results for the Coleman vs. Franken. Bachman is winning so far. So its not all good. But Obama won!

On the other side of the spectrum Ivan's wake was tonight. I got there towards the end. Today has been a complete mix of emotions. Sorrow for Ivan's death, Nervousness for the election, then elation for Obama's victory.

But regardless this will be a day to remember.

Dresden

  • Oct. 29th, 2008 at 5:20 PM

Everyone should read them; go read now. I just finished the 4th book summer knight. Towards the end I realized that Morgan really reminds me of Javiere in Le mis. (I know I spelled that wrong, but oh well) The author is Jim Butcher.

As for school, paper due nest Thursday that I haven't started. (I'm bad I know) Our teacher for Nero canceled class on Monday, then told us our midterm is moved to Monday after next instead of being next Friday. I didn't realize this midterm existed, so thats probably a good thing for me.

Its almost the 4th! Yay for elections! I will be praying that Obama wins, well sending good karma his way at least.

  • 10:47 PM

I'm starting to think that maybe I bit off a bit more than I can chew. My first midterm is on Monday and I'm currently 3 chapters behind. Things should be interesting this weekend. Chinese is evil and has a test every Monday. Sexuality and culture is turning into a pretty fun, though somewhat awkward, class.

Now I shall go sell my soul to the Dresden series some more.

Detergent Woes

  • Sep. 14th, 2008 at 2:22 PM

So while doing my wash my thing of tide apparently came open. Not only did it spill all over the carpet, it also ruined my new book, covered the laundry basket, and even got onto my flipflops and laptop case. At least it didn't get all over my wash I guess.

Dorm

  • Aug. 30th, 2008 at 3:57 PM

I'm now all moved in to the dorm. Its a lot different than my old one, a bit smaller, but I absolutely love it so far. I'll have to get some posters or something to decorate the walls.

Job

  • Aug. 15th, 2008 at 4:08 PM

I officially have a job now. I'll be working as a greeter and dishwasher for dining services. Yay!

Lets all get injured!

  • Jul. 12th, 2008 at 11:44 PM

Ok, so Canoing was lots of fun. But I definitely left with sunburn on my knee right arm, and right leg. Along with sore arms and wrists. Did this stop me from going to Vampire tag? No!

So at Vampire tag I managed to trip and flip over a wood beam/bench thing into the sand (I really did flip btw) and hurt my wrist. So I can't figure out what pain is due to what. It could be sunburn, muscle ache, or the fall. I should set up a betting pool!

Today was insanely fun! Canoing was great, and so was watching Rowan find insane hiding spots, and Geoff disappear at Vampire tag

Its really weird to get a phone call from a friend only to learn somebody you went to school with is dead. I didn't even know he was missing.

Off to Phili

  • Jan. 11th, 2008 at 8:21 AM

I'm off to Phili for the weekend to visit my grandparents with my sister. I will have little to no internet access over the weekend. I may just go crazy, that or I'll finish all the books I've been planning to read.

Finals

  • Dec. 17th, 2007 at 10:47 PM

2 down, 2 to go.

I feel bad that everyone is having so much trouble with their finals. Makes me feel guilty for how little I'm studying for mine. Tomorrows Chinese, which means that it could end up being a pain and I should study, but even then I'm not too worried. I don't know about Chinese and Myth but its possible I'll get all A's. For some reason the U's regular classes just don't stress me out that much. Oddly enough I hear people break down in the hallway about how hard their classes are. Well to all of you with evil finals I'll try to steal some of your stress, cause its just not fair that you guys suffer while I don't.

See most of you soon :)!

Which Firefly character are you?

You are Kaylee, the ship's mechanic. You are cute as a button, chipper, cheerfull and optimistic, though you panic in a fight. Engines make you hot and you prefer having sex next to a big, humming thing.

Yay for one shot tomorrow :)!
And yay for anime club as well :)!

lame week

  • Nov. 8th, 2007 at 10:59 AM

Well I think I didn't do too well on the Bio midterm, I'll find out tomorrow. I also forgot to hand some stuff in so I need to figure out whee to do that by friday. Its been really cold all week, this weekend I'm going to have to go get a hat and more kleenex. Whats really bugging me though is the gnats!

They're everywhere, I kill at least two a day but there multiplying! So my question is, does anyone know a good way to deal with them?

It's sad but true, I have no life during the Week!
I have managed to stay occupied during the weekends, I hang out with
people visit my parents and we now have gaming Saturday nights.
Afraid is awesome by the way :)
But during the week I have nothing, all I do is the following
1. Play WOW, less then you would think but still a lot
2. Read, anything on hand from Greek tragedies to fantasy
3.  Read web Comics, I think I spend the majority of my time doing this, though I'm running out of stuff to read
4. Chat Online
5. Draw, yes I've been drawing, it fills up time
6. Do homework, It kills I swear *runs and hides*
7. going to class

Thats pretty much it, the upside is I'm doing well in all of my classes as a result, but seriously,

I Want My Life Back!!!

Well I hope everyone else is having a good time, or at least a mediocre one
(don't think I'm completely miserable and try to tell me to look on the bright side, I'm just bored for the most part)
